Founder - Sound Designer

Avgoustos established AudioCarft Scandinavia in 2020 after 12 years at Autograph Sound where he worked as a sound designer. In 1998 Avgoustos started his career in the world of sound as an assistant recording engineer and producer, in Cyprus. Alongside his studio work, he toured Europe with the internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble Diastasis which acted as in inspiration for his future career as a sound designer.

After completing his studies at the School of Audio Engineering, London he worked at MTV Broadcast Services and later at the Royal College of Music in London, as studio manager. During his five years there, he also designed and taught the music technology course at Imperial College. 

In 2008 Avgoustos joined Autograph Sound Ltd in London as an associate sound designer where he worked with some of Autograph's prolific sound designers such as Andrew Bruce, Terry Jardine, Nick Lidster, Ian Dickinson and Simon Baker. A few months into his new job Avgoustos started taking on West End and touring sound designs and quickly established himself as pleasant, reliable, imaginative and highly skilled creative. 

His design credits include many West End musical theatre and theatre productions, national and international musicals, operas and plays, NY Broadway and Scandinavian productions. For a detailed list please click Credits List. 

Avgoustos has always been passionate about learning from others and passing on his knowledge and expertise to fellow sound professionals and students. Over the years, he has developed practical methods of teaching and multiple visual teaching resources that allow him to deliver high quality seminars.
